A: Bud those scams and pyramid schemes target the gulliable who want to believe making money doesn't require any talent, hardwork, or even the ability to leave their residence.
I just love hearing testimonies on yahoo answer who swear they make 50k a year, and won a lexus, by just doing surverys online. That sort of entertainment you typically have to pay for.
Q: Where are the REAL work at home data entry jobs?
I've been researching for work at home jobs for awhile now. SO MANY SCAMS I tell ya. There's no way I'd pay for a JOB. I've found a couple but they have really long waiting list.
I really need a work at home job doing data entry, but where's the jobs?
Does anyone work at home doing data entry? If so, what company do you work for?
A: "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."
There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.
If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.

has some good information on how to search recruitment websites for work at home positions.
Q: How do I find out reputable places to apply to work-at-home data entry jobs?
There are 1000s of offers for work-at-home jobs entering data from your own computer at home. However 99% of these offers are known to be scams, which is what I'm finding out as I go to the Better Business Bureau to search out each company, one at a time. Does anyone here know the names of valid companies who use at home workers to lower their operation costs?
A: Read this article, and you will find 100 percent scam free place to do data entry work at home.
Its free to join and earn money, so there is no point of Scam involved

Q: Any know any work at home data entry jobs that are legit and free?
I searched for data entry jobs on myspace, and it came up with a lot of work at home data entry jobs. But I don't know if there legit or not, because they want me to pay first for the cost of the training materials, like $15. And I apply for like 2 or 3 different ones and they sent me the same exact message back, word or word the same,so that's why I think it might be a scam,so I want to know from anyone who actually works at home, and is getting paid, where can I sign up to work at home too, where is there a free legit site that pays to do data entry at home,or any good paid to take survey sites. Because you shouldn't have to pay,I think if it asks for you to pay, then it's a scam, thanks all for the help.
A: If you have to pay upfront costs, forget it, it is a scam. It may be legal but chances are your income is going to be very minimal and they are going to make a profit on selling those training materials.
One of the best home-based data entry positions around though is medical transcriptionist. Granted, it requires some schooling, but it would be worth it if you really want to work from home.
Q: Legitimate work at home data entry jobs - Are there any?
I am looking for a legitimate work at home job that has no fee involved to start. I am not very good with pressure sales so I believe the most suitable for me would be data entry. Any ideas you could provide would be appreciated. I have 30 years managerial experience in the transportation field but my health has limited me and forced me to resign from my previous job.
Thank you.
A: I have tried data entry home jobs, did it for a while but was not happy with my income, I researched and found easier and better ways to make an income from the "Net". Check out the link that I will provide below for a few different money making opportunities, that are free

Im wondering if there are any real, legit work at home jobs doing data entry/customer service work?? Any information is appreciated!!

One option is to freelance and bid for data entry jobs. However, you are bidding along with many people and often other countries-so you may have to bid really low just to get a job and/or project.
Another option is to offer data entry services to businesses in your area. It can be done, I know people who have done this but it is not easy to do.
This website explains how to find a genuine data entry job from home:

Q: Are there any legitmate work from home data entry jobs?
I am looking for data entry jobs that I can do from home and still be able to be at home with my kids. I live in Canada and I just can't find any data entry jobs that don't require money up front. My husband works full time and there just doesn't seem to be enough money. I'm not interested in mlms or the one time start up fees or any other type of fees. If you know of any data entry job please let me know.
A: Nothing worth having comes that easy. Sorry but I rather tell you the truth before Hannah (above me) or someone else scams you.
Q: Are there any work from home data entry jobs?
I am looking for data entry jobs that I can do from home and still be able to be at home with my kids. If you know of any data entry job please let me know.
A: Every google search that you do ("work at home", "data entry", etc.) will show scams. Every link that you will see is a scam. I know this because I clicked on one site, which another site reviewed and said that it was the real deal, as well as the site having a video on Youtube about itself.
All that site did was for affiliate marketing. You go on websites that are just for advertisements and type down this link that goes back to the website you signed up for. If someone happens to want to work for the website from that link, you get money, and not alot, like 50 cents. And the websites you go to, the only people who visit them are people exactly like you, with no desire to click on some stupid link.
You want a work at home job? Well then start graphic design, and become excellent at it. Because only those that are good can work at home, and full time; there is no such thing as part time work at home unless you are the best of the best.
Get a Bachelor's degree in Business and then become a data entry specialist, because those people are the only true "work at home data entry" workers. And they have that job because they got the education, and the got a legit job from a legit company.
Sorry to burst you maternal bubble but you ain't gonna get a job like that. the only advice I can give is to make money off a hobby of yours, whatever it is. Maybe you can make a blog of the hobby, and by the rare chance that your blog even makes a decent amount that you don't need a second job, well then you're set.
Let me repeat it one more time: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A WORK AT HOME DATA ENTRY JOB for any "real" company that won't scam you. Better to neglect the children now while they are young, than to have them you neglect you later on because you have no money now.
Q: Are there home online data entry jobs that are legitimate?
Are home data entry jobs legitimate? (or at least some)? If so, which ones are legitimate? Do you always have to pay money to get information and to get into the business? Please help.
A: I had one of those jobs for seven years until they decided to send their work to Mexico to save money. I didn't have to pay anything. I think if someone asks you for money they are probably not legit.
Q: Could anyone tell me if the at work from home data-entry jobs are legit or if you know what web site is good?
I am looking for a job, and would like to be able to stay home with my children. Every work from home job I see on the web sites they are asking for money or there is more behind it in order to get started. Help, Help
A: You can always check with the better business bureau. I would be very leery of any company that requires you to pay money up front.
See if you qualify to work at home as a medical transcriptionist. They tend to make decent money-but you have to have an understanding of medical terminology among other things.
Q: Is there really legit work from home data entry jobs?
I have been looking for a week now, and everything I find seems like a scam. Does anyone know of real companies that use stay at home parents for data entry?
A: There are millions of scams. Here check out this site has a huge list of the scam sites that are out there and can help you find a legit program.http://www.squidoo.com/typeathomescams is the scam list site.
Q: does anyone know of any Legite work from home data entry jobs?
At Home Internet jobs, work from home, data entry office jobs
A: I think this was posted in the wrong section. That's okay! I'll be happy to answer this question too.
If you really want to work from home and make a living, then I suggest you start your own home based business. I started a blog on my 360 page on different home based business opportunities. Feel free to go check them out. There's half a dozen listed I believe.
You can try doing the paid survey sites. However I've found that they're not necessarily scams, they just take a lot of time to set up. Registration, then each survey takes anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour and half the time you don't qualify for a survey, but just spent five minutes answering questions to qualify for a survey that you did not qualify. When you do get qualified you either get numbers for prizes or you make a couple of dollars, but you can't collect it until you reach a curtain amount. that's the experience a lot of my friends have went through with several different survey sights.
I also don't know anyone who is going to hire someone that they don't know to work from their house. So I suggest you start your own home based business. There's a lot to chose from. It all depends on what you want to do. there is some ideas on my 360 blog for you. If you find one your interested in, contact the person who posted the comment.
Q: Does anyone know any legit work at home data entry jobs?
I know not to pay anyone any money but I don't have the time to look online over and over for a few legit companies that offer work at home oppertunities doing data entry work. I have been able to find call center type work but I do that during the day and don't want to do that at night too. I need extra income and I am not able to afford evening daycare too. Please help. I don't want any sales or marketing work. Thanks.
A: I work from home, NO INVENTORY, NO DOOR TO DOOR! I get to sit at home and work in my pj's around my kids, which I love.

Q: are there any work at home data entry jobs that are legitamate for a source of income for a stay at home mom?
Hear alot about work at home data entry positions but they all sound too good to be true. Are there any that are for real with the ability to bring in a small income?
A: YES! There are legit work at home options…….I looked for 3 years before I found a good one! Learn from my experiences….lol----and every data entry one I tried was a scam! :(
I’m a stay at home mom of two little girls a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I work about 15-18 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. I have been with the company for 6 months and am now making over $2500 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work I have seen people make anywhere from $500-$2000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well. If I continue on as I am going at the end of the year I will be making $5000 a month. My friend Becky started 2 years before me. She is now making $95,000 a year.
The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit and a benefits package. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me.
I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. The support is great but I have made wonderful friends as well. I think that’s important too, especially being at home!
I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company is the number one National Medical Benefits Company in the US. They are a member of the US Chamber of Commerce which is very impressive. Also they were featured in “The New York Times”, “Wall Street Journal” and the “American Medical Review”. Even “60 Minutes” with Morley Safer did a big special on them!
Even more then all this is they are accepted at over 100,000 retailers nation wide. These are fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart and more. These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at the stores I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the benefits for free and I saved over $150 on my last visit to the dentist! That’s just a beautiful perk! : - )
When I first started I just felt very safe with them…. that and my friend was already making so much money with them! But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOVING what you do? What could be better?
Check them out! Just type in www.workathomeplus.net in your web browser.

P.S. If you are looking for a JOB there should be NO cost and I would NEVER pay or encourage anyone to pay money to work FOR someone else. This is a business, an inexpensive home business of your own, where you are your own boss. Of course it does cost some money to start any home business but that does NOT mean you should pay $500 or even $1000 to start a home business. Our start up costs are less then $100 bucks and we get SO much for that. Each month we cover only a very small portion of what it really costs to run our businesses, the company pays the rest for us. Including all of our web sites, training, materials, 401k, direct deposit, medical benefits and more. This company basically makes it possible for you to own your own home business and they foot almost 100% of the bill!!! Without them I never would have been able to afford my own business!
